The new version sounds great on my headphones, slightly fuller and brighter. I'll have to give it a proper listen when I'm home.
Thanks, yes the intention was to make it slightly brighter.
The drums for this song are sampled, so a lot easier to deal with. As you can see, there isn't much correction needed, just a healthy amount and compression for the punch.
