I tried a couple o' things differently in this mix. There's no compression on any of the individual drum tracks; just EQ and level balancing. The drum compression is on the group buss using FabFilter C2, which I've not used before for this purpose, set at 2:1 in the "Punch" option, with some of the dry signal mixed in. The guitars are using NI/Softube VC76 compression. Guitar 2 got a fair bit of attention, because I wanted more distortion, and I've a plethora of distortion/fuzz plug-ins. The single vocal track gave me an excuse to try various settings in Reel ADT. Here's the result. Let me know what you think?
