Bannockburn Mix by Condor - condorrising - 28-08-2013 Hey guys, this is my first time mixing another person's recordings so here we go! I used all of the tracks for drums, but decided to use a kick sample from my own kit and a snare sample from Steven Slate. These were mixed in using Trigger, and were both very slight. I didn't do a lot to the bass, because I thought it sounded great. I used all of the recorded guitars and disregarded the DIs. I honestly love that super distorted sound. Very kvlt. The second mics on all of them were turned down though. Didn't do a lot to the strings and choir, just cut the unnecessary bottom end and mixed in. The vocals have eq and comp, as well as a ping-pong style delay. I tried my hand at mastering, which I don't have a lot of experience in. Let me know what you think! |
