Peter White - ANOOP - 03-07-2018

well my first mix

A good mix. I really like the idea of stereo spreading the vocals during the chorus, especially due to the fact the vocals thin out there anyway, but I think it's a little too much, and because it's quite a bit louder, the song loses impact on the heavier verse.

I agree... You can spread the ooos and ahhhs pretty wide but I think the lead might be better kept to between 10 and 2 o'clock. Also watch out for the effects of mono summing. Many things fade back when you do that here. Where do you find mono? Anywhere "muzak" is found such as elevators or stores and restaurants but also ring tones, toys that play music (think talking dolls or that sort of thing), and other lesser places. Also in some places where you do have stereo, the speakers are so close together that it really ends up being mono. So it still matters and is worth paying attention to.
