Ilmari Kontia: 'Funkkihillo' - Lethan - 16-05-2018

Hey guys,
Such a nice song, tried to managed those amounts of guitars somehow Smile.
Drums mixed with no samples.
Let me know what do you think.

PS
I just noticed it needs a bit deessing at some parts, will fix it a bit later.

Edit,
Ver3C has some minor fixes following Dave and Lukas suggestions.

Cheers!

Mix translates pretty well through my headphones. Nice forward guitar tones and vocal processing. I'm wondering if the snare could come forward a bit though? Perhaps the backing vocals also just a tad. Anyways, nice work. well done!

Hey Dave,
Thanks for the input.
You are absolutely right about snare and back vox,
Will try to move up a .5 db OH, could not decide about this as i didnt want to rise Cymbals. But will check this.
Back vox will be easy to fix
Thanks!.

You're welcome.Big Grin
Distortion could be useful in lifting the backing vox

Hey Lethan,

nice mix.

I agree with Dave also have something to add for myself: The Guitars sound busy and pokey in the uppermid-range maybe try to clean and soften it up a bit? Also the vocals is pretty harsh.
Drums and Bass are killer though. But toms sound a bit too unproccesed. Also the drums are very dry compared to guitars.

Cheers,
LukasAngel

Regarding the chaotic or busy sound, it's also fault of the arrangment.... What a mess xD
