Looking for all opinions, criticism, and critiques. I love true honest feedback.

Hey Masmamune,

overall balance is very good but your low-end does not exist. Either you have a poor room/headphones which trick you into thinking you have enough low-end or you have high-passed to aggressively.

In the intro the cymbals sound very centered and fight with the percussive nature of the acoustic guitar. Overall you make little use of all the space you have try to pan more!
The drums are very compressed and have a nice punch but lack sustain and openness, which this song needs in my opinion.
You have a very compressed mix overall, I would suggest you back the compressors of a bit and I'd still think your mix would work.

Again, the most important factor is that you have no low-end or low-mids!
Make sure to check against reference tracks and use a spectrum analyzer (for example, SPAN by Voxengo) to also check against "Pink Noise" (which has Equal-Loudness per Octave -> "Balance").
Also make sure you look at the frequency response of your playback system online and see if it has a bias.

Cheers,
