Borderline - First complete mix - henrycee - 06-03-2018 Hi everyone, This is my first ever acoustic mix so please let me know what you think. The issues that I think I've identified are: - Rubbish vocal automation (this was an experiment with a fader ride plugin) and as a result are too loud in some places and too quiet in others - Upper mids don't sound as smooth as I'd like - Found it tough getting the vocals to sound warmer without it going muddy - Too much tape saturation (although I think the lo-fi sound suits the track) ...but I'd be interested to see whether you come to the same conclusions!
