Blood to Bone - aarons mix - Aaron L - 06-08-2013 Feed back is taken gratefully! now people, rip this apart. RE: Blood to Bone - aarons mix - bmullen - 06-08-2013 The vocals and guitars sound good to me. The overall balance is a bit bass heavy on my system. The bass guitar level seems a bit loud and the kick may have a bit too much low end, but it might be alright if the bass is brought back a bit. You might be able to put a little more reverb on the snare, too. The mix has a good energy to it RE: Blood to Bone - aarons mix - Gerrit - 12-11-2013 (06-08-2013, 01:12 AM)Aaron L Wrote: Feed back is taken gratefully! Hey Aaron Negatives: Bass too loud. I like the reverb on the drums but it puts the whole kit too far back in the mix. Try a different balance between the "dry" and "reverb" mix. Positives: Guitars sound good and I like the creative stereo panning! Vocals also sound good. To sum things up, I think if you lower the bass and bring the drums more forward in the mix it will make a huge improvement. Cool! Regards Gerrit |
