My take on Big Dummy Shake - kjedrusiak - 03-02-2018 First thing that I noticed was the drum overhead were not matched up with the rest of the kit...almost a slap echo. Move them back about 7ms. Some of the hand claps were way off the beat, tweaked only as needed. Decided to go a bit funky and throw a phaser on the bass...mixed to my taste. Keys to the left, percussion to the right. Worked in my head. ; ) Bit of small studio verb on vocals. Live drums had plenty of natural verb. Need to read/watch up on mastering...don't know much there. Raised the level a tiny bit. Nothing else. : / Feedback is always appreciated. |
