My mix - SufiM - 23-07-2013 I know I'm late but let me know what you think RE: My mix - bmullen - 23-07-2013 Sounds great to me. Nice balance and use of stereo field. RE: My mix - Mike Senior - 24-07-2013 Only listening on my PC speakers, I'm afraid, but I can't really fault anything here. It immediately sounds right. It sounds like you've hard-panned the clarinet and harmonium, which is something I usually avoid to avoid balance such big changes in mono and with one-sided listening, but that's a taste thing -- different engineers have different approaches to that kind of thing. Could the kick and snare be a little less punchy? (Not something I say very often, but hey!) It just feels as if the groove could be a little more laid-back to me, a little more mellow. But I'm splitting hairs -- great job! RE: My mix - SufiM - 24-07-2013 Thank you Mike! I had similar sentiments as well, might tweak a bit. |
