Thought this would be another easy one to mix as there is only one track, but it was quite a challenge in reality.
I multed out the different sections, heavier strumming, twiddling, slower picking, the punctuated 'between sections' hits, end hits, and treated them all a little differently. I also multed out all the body hits too and gave them a little more sustain.
After the first round, I referenced it to Mike Senior's 'Preview Mix' and made a couple of little tweaks as was way too heavy in the HFs, and missing some richness in the lower string notes, in comparison.
I added a touch of 'modulated/phaseyness' in the slower section (at about 2min) which I think sounds quite cool on headphones
Finished it off in Ozone 5
