Flesh and Bone -my first mix ever - karuzo - 08-11-2017 Hello all, After playing with a mixing program I decided to search for a project to mix. This was a fun process for me. I can get this better. I took some creative approach and eliminated elements, including selectively playing the accordion. Using the guidance of the book Mixing Secrets I tried to build up to a climax. I'd love to hear opinions please. Thanks, Doron RE: Flesh and Bone -my first mix ever - splinterhood - 21-06-2018 To me it seems like you are adding a new track as the song progresses but doing it so subtly that the crescendo never takes effect. I think that if you duplicate the guitars and raise their level quicker in the middle of playing, it would have a more obvious feel that things are coming together. Using the accordion for a solo was a neat touch! |
