Good Time - Rufete - 17-07-2013 Hi! This is what i've Done with this song. I have compressed the ambiences... maybe too much, It makes the kikck's punch sound a little strange. Panning has really been a headache. I'm not satisfied at all with it. Any suggestions about this or whatever? Great Thanks! RE: Good Time - bmullen - 18-07-2013 Couple of thoughts from my first listen ... the kick needs more bottom and I would try panning the two guitars at say 60 instead of full right/left. RE: Good Time - tato - 18-07-2013 on kick i only use eq and parallel compression EQ: +3db 65 Hz / -6db 550 Hz and +3db 4,5 khz NO compression on ambience, only eq. makes drums like (live recording) and if u want try some reverb on all drums, more on snare check my mix of good time RE: Good Time - Rufete - 18-07-2013 Going for a second try! Thank you guys! RE: Good Time - Rufete - 26-07-2013 And there it goes! RE: Good Time - bmullen - 27-07-2013 Sounds a lot better to me. Good job. |
