Hi All, for my first post on this forum I thought I'd have a go at mixing this track. I found it really difficult to get the live drums to sit well, so I decided to replace them with the electronic beat, and work on the compression/delay effects a bit more to make everything gel together a little better (I hope!). The intention was to give it a more 'Pop' kind of feel.
I've not mixed any electronic/dance tracks before so I'd appreciate some constructive criticism to improve my technique.

Welcome to the fun. I haven't mixed any tracks in this genre but this mix sounds really good to me

Hey nice work, I really like your mix!
Just too much compression for my taste, sounds almost like radio to me.
