back from the start - mikrostudios - 29-06-2013

fun song to mess around with new drum sounds and eq and compressor ....

I can dig the dirt on the rhodes. Is that a parallel distortion track? It's cool. I might center it a little more since the guitar isn't a thick enough track to balance it out on the left. Maybe, maybe not.

This is a bright mix--vocals are nice. I was hoping to get mine a little brighter (I'll post in a few minutes).

The reverse vocals could be cool if they were a little deeper in the mix. It seems like they are right on top of everything. I had to check if something else was playing over it. Guitar is possibly the best sounding track that they gave us in this package. You have better control of it than I do but it could still use a little more space.

Cool.

I like the idea of weird overall sound. Short ambience reverb might spread the drum sound nicely and give some glue to overall sound without changing the basic sonic idea.

I agree with joepalumbo: backwards effect takes the focus out of the main vocals in the wrong moment.
