Lindy Hip Big Band: 'Makin' Whoopee' (v1) - loupi - 04-03-2017 nice singing. i may refine her vocals later. version 2 (conveniently called v1): cleaned up the vocals, and mastered. RE: Lindy Hip Big Band: 'Makin' Whoopee' (v1) - Dangerous - 05-03-2017 I like it loupi, a big concert hall sound. The reverb on the vocal is a little heavy handed for me, mainly in the lower frequencies, maybe you could filter the return? Well Done RE: Lindy Hip Big Band: 'Makin' Whoopee' (v1) - loupi - 05-03-2017 (05-03-2017, 11:12 AM)Dangerous Wrote: I like it loupi, a big concert hall sound. RE: Lindy Hip Big Band: 'Makin' Whoopee' (v1) - Roy - 05-03-2017 Yeah. It sounds nice. I kind of like the reverb on the vocal but I think it takes away some of the intimacy of the voice. I does reinforce the sense of space but I think it could be a little dried and in the foreground. Dangerous is right. Maybe filtering some of the lows off the 'verb might accomplish the same thing. Sounds good. RE: Lindy Hip Big Band: 'Makin' Whoopee' (v1) - loupi - 07-03-2017 Thanks for the feedback. i made the vocal more intimate, but i still wanted it somehow big, to connect the whole. and i did some mastering-moves ;-). |
