Swing Bazar - Fleche D'Or - parnellij - 25-02-2017

What a catchy tune! This is my first crack at mixing this genre (or hearing this genre outside of a Ren and Stimpy cartoon). My gut instinct was to drench the mix in plate reverb, saturate everything and scoop some mids to give it a late 50's hi-fi vibe, so here you go!

I enjoyed this one parnellij. I like what you're bought to the table. Your influences and gut instinct has paid off. I bit like Rick Rubin working with Johnny Cash perhaps.

My only complaint is with the bass, with it sounding a little undefined at times. Nothing major though. Smile

Whoo that snap on the gypsy guitar!! Can't stop liking it.

I'm the electric guitar player from the band and to me, this is inspiring. I could hear it on the radio (or at least, the one that's playing in my head). It seems like you figured out the role of the violon pretty well.

Great mix, thanks for your time!!

Ok parnellij, this sounds great. Gonna upload mine anyway. Loads of trouble I have with this one. Smile
