You & me & the radio - jeremias666 - 20-06-2013 Here is my mix, i would have gone for a way drier mix, but i just keep struggling to fit the vocal nicely with a dry sound. In some parts it just gets disconnected or the get lost from the track no matter what level you set them. Any critic is welcome. Fun song. RE: You & me & the radio - takka360 - 21-06-2013 Nice mix i think you have locked the guitars into the drums nice and this is what this track has to have. I dont like the fx on the vox in the chorus way too much and it looses the chorus punch. I think this track needs reverbs just right on the keys and piano to keep that tight punch in the chorus so not too much. Maybe a bit bass lite but ok but i do think the fx on the vox in the chorus kills it I also thnk the snare could do with a tad more body for a bit more clump and maybe a bit more kick as the drums just seem a little bit lite and i think it would give the whole mix the extra bit of clump its missing In the chorus more than the verses more than anything Just my opinion so take as a pinch of salt as i know sod all. RE: You & me & the radio - jeremias666 - 21-06-2013 I pretty much agree with your observations. I also noticed while making those changes to the mix that i have muted the tambourine in the mix i uploaded. here is the updated mix: |
