Hi Sebastian, I'm Perpetual Escape's drummer, and I mixed the original album.
The first thing I noticed is the 3D placement of your drums. Kick and shaker are very in front while the snares and the toms sound very distant.
I can barely hear the bass while some guitars are very loud (I like their tone though).
I think what you can do to make it more even is to reference with some professional materials (I would say Creed and Alter Bridge for instance).
With more balance in volume and 3D placement, your mix will be very nice ! Keep it up

I'll try to do better next time.
It's not a defense but I mix with headphones for now.. it's so hard to have a good response of mix balances and frequencies, but I'm trying to do my best.
