Roots of mankind. - pile63 - 20-12-2016

Had to work a little on this. First i did get it muddy but it came out fine in the end.

There is a really weird phase problem going on in your mix.. I'm not sure if it's the bass or your guitars..
You should check your master tracks and fix this.. Maybe you used a widener too much.

Listening to your mix on headphones ,I'm hearing the low frequencies of the guitars and bass in the side channels somewhere below 200hz.
The vocals sound sound a touch upfront.
Listening in mono the bass sounds nice and solid but the guitars especially the solo at 0.58 almost disappearing which suggest a phase issue ,and the most worrying thing for me is the guitars in my mix also disappear in mono which is one thing i overlooked.

Cheers Big Grin

Thanks for the info. I am gonna mix that song again and check the guitars better. There is some weird sound in the recording...:-)
