Diesel13_ColourMeRed_Mart'ess_mix - mart'ess - 03-12-2016 Hello, World!) Here's my one. Update: added V4 - the final one thanks 4 listening RE: Diesel13_ColourMeRed_Mart'ess_mix - Roy - 03-12-2016 I only listened to V2 Overall it sounds good. Here's what I noticed. The acoustic guitar on the left is a little loud. It feels ok in the beginning but feels louder starting at the first verse. The bass could use a slight low end cut to help fit it in the mix. The top end of it is good but it gets "tubby" and takes up a lot of space in the low end of the mix. I think some of the low end build up might be from the acoustics too. Make sure there isn't any low end you don't need coming from the guitars. The drums feel good. I like the snare. The vocal is ok. It could come up especially in the choruses. The room reverb tends to make it feel small. The group vocals get lost. They can definitely stand out more. Dynamically it feels flat and it could be a more exciting. But it's not a bad mix. It's a good version that can be worked on and taken up a notch and made better. Hope that helps. RE: Diesel13_ColourMeRed_Mart'ess_mix - mart'ess - 03-12-2016 Hello and thank you for the review, Roy. These comments are very useful. I'm new to this, but I will try to improve my skills and experience. Thank you!
