Fun with Funk, to The Bone - Mixinthecloud - 05-11-2016
Well recorded and easily mixed so lots of fun.
Very little EQ except the kick and the bass. Compression was added to the drum buss and the lead and backing vox. One FX send and a nice small studio space was inserted across the drums.
Mastering was for tons of volume and punch in a parallel patch.
Here's my take. I hope you like.

Remixed and remastered for better over-all listening at many playback levels.
This was partly in reaction to and agreement with comments heard from avowed funk fans.
