Brahms - Hungarian Dance No. 5 (Tøffel) - Tøffel - 11-06-2016 I went for a very natural sound with this one. I used the DI track only for bass reinforcement when needed, otherwise I EQ'ed the mic track on the guitar and added a little comp/limiter. Sax is straight to the point with a little EQ to get some more air into it, and a little comp/limiter. I didn't want to overdo it, in terms of making sound harsh, so I didn't beef anything up very much. Then I added a touch of reverb to get it to sound more like it was in a room, and not just micced up. Then just a little panning to get a little width and done! Took about an hour-ish. Tell me what you guys think, and If I should try something different! - Tøffel RE: Brahms - Hungarian Dance No. 5 (Tøffel) - Dangerous - 11-06-2016 Sounding nice with headphones on Tøffel. I'm hearing some distortion with the sax. I guess it's the limiting you've done. Maybe intentional, not sure. Well Done anyhow. Dave |
