Dunning Kruger: 'Sascha' - fran - 01-05-2016 This band has a really great vibe. It was fun to mix. I'd love hearing your opinions. Many thanks, Fran RE: Dunning Kruger: 'Sascha' - MMT93 - 07-10-2016 Hi Fran, I like that you opted to add a bit of space to this mix through the use of heavy reverb. A lot of other mixes of this track are very dry. Your snare is very "dub-ish" Be careful with that bass guitar; the low end is far too heavy and is getting in the way of the kick drum. I'd roll down the bass boost and back off the level to make it sit better with that kick drum. The underlying balance of the other instruments is okay, but would be made better by tweaking that bass ! You've made good use of the stereo field, I like how you automated the panning of the guitars in the chilled sections of the track. Keep it up, some good progress here. Looking forward to hearing your future mixes. RE: Dunning Kruger: 'Sascha' - fran - 22-12-2016 (07-10-2016, 09:11 PM)MMT93 Wrote: Hi Fran, Thank you very much! RE: Dunning Kruger: 'Sascha' - Kaizerkilla - 27-03-2017 yeah sounds cool super wet, i like it vocals are right up front and dry in contrast so thy dont get lost with the other verb. bass could do with some EQ changes and maybe some chorus (always great on bass) GTRs sound good loads of room in this mix good job |
