This song was interesting. A pretty straightforward mix because everything was recorded well, but I found getting the right vibe to be difficult. Instead of cleaning the guitars up in a more pop-styled way, I chose to leave them a little louder in the mix and with a little more of a mid-grit "garage" tone.

Mixing was done with Reaper stock plugins and Slate plugins.

Master Bus chain: Waves C4 -> Slate VCC -> Waves L1

Best,

mgetz

I like your mix it Sounds well balanced, the vocals sound nice I like the room ambience maybe a touch wide in the side channels.
More of a personal taste thing.

Good Job Big Grin

great vibe. maybe a bit boomy in the bottom (low from the kick in reverb)
