Dead Roses (BB mix) - beefyblue - 05-04-2016 Really great song this! Thoroughly enjoyed working on it! Hope I've done it justice.. If anyone has any feedback on the mix, I'd love to hear it. I may do another revision, feel like I could push the piano a bit more in places.. Cheers BB RE: Dead Roses (BB mix) - Shul - 06-04-2016 Hey Beefyblue Few observations on your mix. *It has great balance *There is a ringing freq. on that snare. Do a sweep to find it and cut off on it. *Acoustic guitars are missing the mids. Is making the guitars feel too thin. *I like how clean the vocals sound. I personally would like them a bit warmer but that's just my taste. All in all this is sounding pretty good. RE: Dead Roses (BB mix) - Mixinthecloud - 24-05-2016 Great texture and tone with excellent separation and environmentals. Cymbals got a bit strident at one point in the middle of the song, but this is very minor. Good work. Agreed on the cymbals, I could darken them up a little in general I think listening to it now. |
