Better Way - jay's mix - jayb6120 - 29-03-2016 Hey folks! Here's my attempt. Cheers! RE: Better Way - jay's mix - thedon - 09-04-2016 Hey Jayb, Sounds pretty good I like it , These are mainly personal thoughts, maybe a touch of dynamic compression on the kick beater around 4-5 k are just to tame some transients as is jumping out a touch. Also the same with the tambourine at 12k to tame some transients. Not a big deal though Here is a great free dynamic eq which is really easy to use if you haven't already tried it or similar type. http://www.tokyodawn.net/tdr-nova/ sweeping the frequencies I mentioned like a narrow parametric eq but just adjust the threshold to tame the transients. I do tend to have some trouble in those frequency ranges. Thanks a lot for that dynamic eq suggestion. I'm going to try it out. Cheers!
