Fun redefined - Lammy - 18-03-2016 Throwing in my mix version. Nothing relevant to report. Just a lot of fun in playing with this mix. Automation at a later stage. cheers RE: Fun redefined - Lammy - 10-05-2016 Replaced with a far better balanced version cheers RE: Fun redefined - Aresfin - 11-05-2016 looked liked you had some overs. You mean too much overheads? Or you intend it looks like I had an hangover while mixing this? ;-) cheers RE: Fun redefined - Konek - 11-05-2016 Hi Lammy! That's really fine work! It's seemed to me that Slash met Lionel When I start to mixing this, I'll call Benson))) RE: Fun redefined - Lammy - 16-05-2016 (11-05-2016, 11:06 PM)Konek Wrote: Hi Lammy! That's really fine work! Thanks very much, I'm listening after ear rest and there are a few flaws I'll try to correct: - snare a little too wet and a little too loud - or transient not properly tamed - other details that are not pleasing 100% (back vocs, overheads...) where improvements can be done. Maybe a proper mastering session would help. Not qualified to mix Richie or Hudson ;-) RE: Fun redefined - Aresfin - 20-05-2016 (11-05-2016, 11:40 AM)Lammy Wrote:(11-05-2016, 04:34 AM)Aresfin Wrote: looked liked you had some overs. no, I mean on the mix bus output, it's clipping. Busses are 64 bit mixer processing in plugin-to-plugin transfer and summing, and 32 bit in internal rtas plugin processing. with plenty of headroom. Scaling down to 24 bit is done at master fader transfer point. That means: during mixing, in general, if busses are just "touching red" and master tracks are not red, all is good in Protools 10. cheers |
