Shore 1.0 - Jmaltby - 12-03-2016

Hey everyone,

I'm new to mixing - I'd love to get any feedback you might have.
Thanks!

It's subtle - but I think this is better

The overall levels and balance is good, however...

The vocals are a bit airy and breathy, so perhaps try lowering the high end of the vocals (around the 2-8 kHz) mark. The kick is also missing some of the low end punch and needs a boost at around 80-100 Hz. They're the first things that jumped out at me - but overall it's not a bad mix Smile

good balance but it sounds a bit too bright. I second BenJ on the kick comment but I'd like to add that maybe it's the high end of the kick that needs to be tamed. The smack/click of the kick drum is great for definition for busier heavier genres but in this case it doesn't need to pop that much, but it does lack a bit of the low end. I also noticed the synth bass thing before the solo was a bit too loud.
