My mix of 'Better Way' - MopeyChameleon - 03-03-2016 Hey everyone! Here's my mix of this song, it was a ton of fun! I stuck with the stock Pro-Tools plugins as well as the Slate Digital Virtual Mix Rack. I used the FG-S series EQ within that plugin for EQ. I also used a Waves L1 Limiter on the mix bus. Other than that I think this mix was pretty quick, easy, and fun! Any comments/feedback/questions are appreciated, I am a student majoring in Audio Engineering so i'm pretty good at handling constructive criticism. Thanks! Steven RE: My mix of 'Better Way' - Shul - 05-03-2016 Hello Mopey Great job on Balancing the stereo field! Good mix. Everything is smooth sounding. RE: My mix of 'Better Way' - Sono - 05-03-2016 It's a W-mix, although balanced, not very pleasant for listening in headphones. Mid is too weak. Vocals are deeper than claps. Hope it helps. Best of luck. RE: My mix of 'Better Way' - Olli H - 08-03-2016 I like the dry overall sound. It give nice 3d effect to this mix. Balance feel good to me. Especially drums sit nicely with other instruments. ALso bg-voxes blend nicely to overall mix. My only critique would be about vox. It could have some small stereo effect with it that would give it a bit stronger and broader place in the middle. Now it feels a bit shy. Like a Band with a singer. Not a Singer with a band. |
