Fredy "V" Not Alone - Faders_up - 23-02-2016 Hi Everyone. Just getting my Pro Tools set up dialed in and getting used to the acoustics in my loft for mixing. I haven't bought any large monitors yet. If someone has a chance to listen to this on some bigger speakers, let me know how the low end is. I like the live feel. The leakage seems to work nicely. Thanks a bunch ~Scott V3: Revisit 2017 RE: Fredy "V" Not Alone - MarcoStenik - 23-02-2016 Hi Scott, I listen your mix on my main monitor. The bass is a little bit too low. Or K and SN too loud. The reverb is too long and with too much high frequency... but for my taste. Vox: some high frequency 8/10K need deessing. A little bit of warm on it should be better.. for me Tom and f-tom is a litle bit low and thin. ...ok I exagerate.. at the and is good mix. I also try it three times.. I appreciate your ears RE: Fredy "V" Not Alone - MarcoStenik - 24-02-2016 Well done Scott... RE: Fredy "V" Not Alone - Faders_up - 15-09-2017 About a year and a half ago I mixed this when I was first getting used to mixing all in the box. Since then, I've found the handful of plugins that I like. I thought I'd revisit this mix again and see what I came up with in the new version thats posted at the top. Ver.3-2017. I've since purchased JBL LSR305 monitors along with my old pals NS10's and Sony V6 headphones. |
