Please chek my work and comment whats wrong in my mix Mix in headphones shure srh440 ) RE: James May – Hold On You (Korkut Mix) - Elias - 20-01-2016 Hi Korkut! I hear like there is some kind of distortion in the song, is it in the kik? I also mix on headphones, I don't have studio monitors, can be the distortion product of mixing on headphones? I love the reverb you put on the voice. Greetings from Argentina! RE: James May – Hold On You (Korkut Mix) - Korkut - 21-01-2016 (20-01-2016, 08:11 PM)Elias Wrote: Hi Korkut! Thank you for your answer. You right, kick have some saturation. I always put Softube Saturation on kick and snare in my mixes. P.S. Sorry for my bad english. RE: James May – Hold On You (Korkut Mix) - Nystromfredde - 26-01-2016 Nice job, overall. Some thoughts though: I'm not too keen on using additional effects to the guitars - in my ears and opinion - that's an artistic statement that shouldn't come from the mixing engineer. The reverb is a tad too high - which makes the song sounding less clearer. I think you've found the right balance between the instruments, good job! (19-01-2016, 10:29 PM)Korkut Wrote: Hi!
