What Is.... manuke mix - manuke - 04-01-2016 Version 2 RE: What Is.... manuke mix - uhcarolumyeah - 11-01-2016 Hi manuke! Sounding great! It could be my personal preference, but I would like to hear the kick come out a bit more in the overall mix. I love hearing that punch. The drum solos sound a bit jarring from the loss of the ambient mic sounds from piano and bass The piano may be a little hot. Maybe the cymbals as well. Bass sounds sick. Nice and round with just the right amount of snap! Thanks for uploading! -Carol RE: What Is.... manuke mix - manuke - 11-01-2016 Hey Carol, thanks a lot for leaving some feedback, glad you had a listen. All valid points, actually struggled with the levels a bit, find it tricky mixing sparse stuff like this. Having a first listen since I posted, you're absolutely right about the drum solo, dunno what I was thinking, there was a reason I muted the bass and piano but don't remember what it was. Big mistake. Was doing alright up to then I thought! Thanks again. |
