This is my attempt of this song driving me mad ,anyway gave it a go !

I like the overall sound. Nice space. Very open without being too "reverby".
Left channel has little bit different space than right. If you listen with headphones you'll feel that room is much wider in the other direction. Maybe the slide guitar is too far.

Slide guitar could use some automation. It could give this song new nuances with fills. Now the too busy solo guitar becomes little bit boring, as it's having a monolog, but the slide guitar could change the situation and there could be some dialog.

The bass sits nicely in your overall concept.
But main thing: I like how the song comes alive with this mix.

I agree with the pan sounds a bit odd.
