Forkupines: 'Sleep By The Fire, Bloom In Water' -- Mix - operator - 07-11-2015

It was an unusual project. My attitude to the song has changed from 'nothing special' to 'I totally love this song' during the mixing session. Thanks for bringing it up here.

I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you.

Hey operator,
nice mix, really dig it! You really know how to handle your bass frequencies (which are the hardest part for me btw).
The snare could cut a little more through the mix in my opinion, but that's all I can say to criticize your mix Tongue
Nice one, keep it up!

Could I ask how much time you spent on this mix?

Hi, wurstdrummer.

Thanks for your opinion. I really appreciate you taking time to listen and to drop a line here. Talking about the snare, I've had some hard times with it. Although I might agree it could have some more punch, but it used to sound out of place every time I let it forward. So I decided it's better to have it sitting nicely in the mix rather than cutting through and distracting. But that is a matter of taste, I guess.

Regarding the time, I think it took me about 10 hours overall. (during 3 days)
