Children of no one my mix - Fabricio.Brazil - 23-03-2013 My version of the song. I used some analog equipment. I appreciate comments. Thanks RE: Children of no one my mix - Artbass - 25-03-2013 Hi, nice idea with the vocals towards the end of the mix (before the last chorus)! Your mix is quite good. Maybe you should try to work on geling the tracks a bit more together. Also I don't think that the snare needs that much of reverb but could use a bit more crack in it's sound. The cymbals (hihats!) could be a bit lower in the mix as well, they start to get fatiguing - which sums my listening experience of your mix, by the way. Cheers Artbass RE: Children of no one my mix - Dags - 25-03-2013 Hi Fabricio I really like the use of the alternately panned guitar at the start, keeping the picked guitar and crunchy chord as the central focus. The mix is quite good - your drums really pound! As Artbass mentioned, watch the cymbals, especially the ride in the 'overheads' track which only come in during the section before the final chorus. Some tight frequency-dependent compression will help you out there. [edit - whoops, the ride also appears near the start of the track] Keep up the good work! Dags |
