AnUltra Violet Apology - ALRmix - ALRmix - 28-09-2015

Hi - this is my first post here. Bought Logic Pro X two months ago, found this site a week later and have been absolutely hooked ever since. This is the 11th song I've mixed and the first one I'm reasonably happy with.

Tried to create atmosphere and focused on the vocals.
All comments and suggestions appreciated - thanks!

Nice mix. Good balance my only comment would be to work more on ways to beef the choruses up with automation and so forth. width distortion whatever it takes to create more contrast between sections. Smile

Thanks for your comments: yes that's a definite weak area for me - just learning automation now so will give it another shot soon.
Thanks

Hey man, your mix is pretty fine. Luved the EQ moves you've taken in the vocals, you definitely managed to make some space out of it. The only thing that sort of caught my attention was the actual volume of the harmonic guitar that suddenly kicks in at some parts of the song.

Also, I missed some weight coming from the song, when it gets hot. Overall, you did a great job. Keep up mixing man
