Dead Roses by Mrvin - Mrvin - 09-09-2015

Hey guys,

tried to get the mix as dry as possible, but make it sensational at the same time. My main focus was on achieving that warm "living room" sound.

Have fun listening!

Mrvin,
I like your approach here. In my opinion, not a lot needs to be done to this song, except to place it in a good spaces without mucking about too much.
My key here was the electric and the effects already contained in it. It was very easy to make it lay without any additional processing except for the instruments around it.
The only thing I'd object to in your mix is it seems to have lost some of its attack. Otherwise, good job.

The attack? Where?
