Here's the mix I did of this track for Sound On Sound magazine's June 2011 'Mix Rescue' column, using Cockos Reaper and various third-party plug-ins. I still like the way this one came out. Ended up somehow more than the sum of its parts, which is something you never can predict.

omg this vocal tonality is amazing!! very nice job.
also the guitar sound is very clean and cutting nicely in the song.
this guitar rec have some nasty distortions that u controlled perfectly. what did u do to achieve that? i tried to cut at some freqs but i didnt got what i was aiming for.
