Admiral Crumple Keeps Flowing - John - 10-07-2015 Hey, this is my version. Hope you like it. Feedback is very welcome. RE: Admiral Crumple Keeps Flowing - Q-Mix - 14-07-2015 Good mix, it fits the songs vibe, it should maybe be a little wider imo. Also, i don't hear background vocals, when I mix rap sometimes its important to have them in background to emphasize the rhymes or some words, I didn't mix this song, but I listened original and I can hear some over there. RE: Admiral Crumple Keeps Flowing - John - 18-07-2015 Hey Q-Mix, thank you very much for your time and effort providing feedback. I narrowed the sample down using the Brainworx dynEq Width Control (100% -> 42%). So this could be easily adjusted. No matter what I did to the background vocals it sounded odd. So I decided to be lazy and skip them ;-) Thanks again, highly appreciated! RE: Admiral Crumple Keeps Flowing - toraabe - 26-10-2015 Hip hop vocal needs to be compressed hard to get the vocal " in your face" Together with right EQ settings / notch, and you can fatten it up with little bit of gated reverb but without that you really hear it. Beats / bass. Bass always compressed and eq. Remember to notch unwanted frequencies that is unbalancing the beat. Gatded reverb on snare can create a cool effect if wanted. Good luck (18-07-2015, 12:10 PM)John Wrote: Hey Q-Mix, |
