Is You - Sweating hot version - Lammy - 08-07-2015
Melting from the Sahara heat wave here in Basel - CH with no AC at the home studio... This is a mix that literally costed me some sweating.
Although 80% happy with this mix-and-master version, I am having challenges with the washed out drums (inexistent rim shot and resonant tom).
I went through my usual instinct channel treatments with no gating at all to keep and even enhance the ambience.
Maybe exceeded a little with the reverbs.
Summed on D-Box and mastered with mb comp and Slate FG-X.
I plan to get back to the drums once I've heard more of the fellows' mixes :-)
