Carlos Gonzalez - A Place for Us - mixingonamission - 26-05-2015

got lost somewhere between the three drum kits and half a million BV's Smile

Nothing wrong with this mix, but I think that it somehow leans to the left, especially in choruses. Another thing I would say is if you panned hi hat to the right it would have sounded much better. And main vocal is too dark and needs some kind of delay or reverb. 8/10

I'm not hearing what Obelix hears. For me lead vocal is not dark at all: it's badly EQ'd by the way, sounds megaphone-ish. All vocals for that matter sounds a bit like that. I will agree it could probably do with some reverb, it doesn't have to be prominent it can contribute to the vocal tone and still sound close to dry.
Instrumentals are not bad, especially they sound in balance.
Snare misses a little spark of brightness.

Despite the many flaws this mix has something I like a lot. It has some sort of character, which makes it plesant to listen somehow. I think it could get a lot better if you take care of these issues, for example maybe make the main voice a bit louder, take some more time to EQ, etc. But apart from that I like your translation of this track. Good job.
