big improvement. there's scope for more warmth, if you fancy.
the HD650's are great cans but they are renowned for their relative politeness in the treble department, their mid range is excellent though. i wouldn't recommend using any headphone for dialling in EQ, personally, because of inherent frequency response issues presented by all headphones - there are no exceptions.
v1 was also bright....you're working too hard
