I have been making music and playing keys in various bands over the years. From Reggae and Funk to Hip-Hop, Jazz and live electronic music with performances in clubs and festivals around the UK and Europe. I have also worked in the business side of the music industry as an agent, promoter and programmer. I recently decided to take mixing seriously and to teach myself as much as possible with the view to eventually be able to mix my own productions and others to a professional standard. I realise how deep and subtle the craft of mixing is and that feedback and pointers from other more experienced mix engineers is invaluable on the road to improvement which is why I joined this forum. |
