I listened to this when you posted it,i really like what you did to make it interesting, everything is where it should be, only thing i would say is the vocal is a little telephonic, but thoroughly enjoyed it!

Could be, but I think is more for the tone of the LD vox like Y's Man said, this LD vox has a lot of mids in the recording I tried to tame it but I believe don't gave good results...
