My take on this fine song. Hope you like my mix and thanks for listening!
It is a "fine mix" !!   I do like the Bass,...  or the low end - sounds good !

Greetings

Hello Bob! Many thanks for the feedback. Cheers!
I like your mix. The vocal is really nice. I also like the bottom end you have, very stable, but I think it keeps other instruments from rising up, maybe lower it a bit and see if it helps. If you listen to the beginning, the guitar is nice and strong and bright, but soon as the music starts your guitars lose some power. Balancing it in correct level will help your mix swing and wider. The hats and snare are a bit cracky; it could be bc of the delay on the snare (L side), a bit of LP on the delay should solve that problem, imo. I think you can give the snare a bit more body (not much there to take, but some). I especially like your whistling. @3:24 it sounds like your gate (if used) is not opening fast enough. If you cut it at the source, then I think you went too deep. Maybe you want to take another listen back just to make sure. I trust my ears but they dont work flawlessly all the time. I wish Smile. Cheers!

Hi SonicTramp! Many thanks for the comments. You are right about the gate and some other things as well. So I'll do another mix later on. Cheers!
Hi heinim .Lead vocal has a bit ess problem.Bass guitar's attacks mask the kick drum.acoustic guitars should be more wide. Lead vocal is not like belong to song .You need more glue .Did you use saturator for lead vocal ? I hear harshness and distortion .Anyway Your mix is good .I hope that helps to you .
