These guys remind me of Pavement, Dinosaur Jr, Dead Milkmen, J S Blues Explosion, and a tiny bit of Captain Beefheart.

My only quibble with the tracking is the guitar tones have a flange/chorus printed, I wish there was a dry or DI signal.   GREAT KICK sound !   The kick is just so good, I wish I knew which mic they used etc.   The snare ain't bad.  Good drum room choices, too.     The drumming is a little... idiosyncratic, it's not Neil Peart-fect, but I didn't feel this kind of music needs beat correction.

NOTE:  Revised mix "v5" further down
I think this was recorded in Brooklyn so the kick probably was recorded with a EV602 but that's just a guess.
I think the mix works. The snare might be a bit too out front. Not a fan of the vocal distortion because it kind of puts it right in the range of the snare/guitar/crashes.

I've never heard of an EV 602 - maybe a sennheiser 642 ?...  ennyway.  lol yeah    I did put the snare up front, I could notch it back a couple of db.   The distortion on the vocal is a bit of a production choice because imo the vocal isn't... for lack of a better way to put it... "important" with this style of song... but yeah it maybe needs to be disentangled from the guitar.  Let me put up a second mix and we'll see.   Thanks for listening !
I meant the Sennheiser 602. For some reason I always have called it an EV.

I took your suggestions and brought down the snare and took the dist-amp effect off the vocal.  I think it is better.   Cheers !
Yeah, I think v5 is better too. The snare back and less distortion on the vocal gives the song a bit more depth, pulls the listener in more and I think that's what the song needs.
