Sounds good. No real complaints. I do wish there were more solid low end in a fairly midrangy arrangement but there isn't much to work with until the chorus and there it's fine. Considering the brashness of the recording it's an easy mix to listen to.

Hey RoyM: Thanks for the listen. I wanted to stick in the range of the Punk music style I know where the mid-highs are traditionally the more prominent range, allowing a louder and snare/toms punch transfer - Zeroing in on that low-end does have some space available to pull up a few ticks of some bass tone. I've found Punk records generally have a "don't give a f*%k" brash attitude about them so that was the sound focus of the mix strategy.

I believe and strive with my work that music should sound good no matter what the listening apparatus is, I utilize the Apple Airpod Pro in my reference listening rotation... The art of this craft I most enjoy is seeking to nail mixes that "works everywhere".
Hi digital,
I have problem with 4th gtr. Too harsh for me. Bass sounds good but drums feels a bit loose, I miss the really impact. Also, there is too much room mike in it. Balance sound good. Nice attempt. Cheers!

Here’s a legendary Punk song from maybe 40 years ago: https://youtu.be/cBojbjoMttI

My focus is the traditional “sound” of a musical genre and with Punk the Guitars are purposely harsh to compliment a harsh vocal (opposed to standard Rock tune).

Punk is a harsh musical style as is the child subsequent Grunge style.

Thanks for the listen and comment.
Punk has evolved a bit sonically though. And this isn't really a classic 'punk' song.
As much as I prefer cleaner and newer punk sounds, this just absolutely nails that nostalgic feeling I get from listening to the Ramones! Wow. You absolutely killed it! I like this a lot haha. Totally different from all these whippersnappers out here making newfangled punk mixes.

Thanks.. I'm from the Ramones listening generation and strived to respect that kind of sound of the genre.
