I'm guessing you did some limiting on the drum track to knock down the snare and hat? Not sure I enjoy the results. The snare is too washed out. It has none of the tonal warmth every other track has and loses its fit with the ensemble. Other than that the mix is fine. Good use of the strings and the blend you established.

i am also not satisfied with the mix either. too much midi charm on the original tracks.
i shot an audio to midi track and used it to trigger a snare sample. not the real thing ...
