The vocals are buried to far in the beat on the hook and the rest of the record just kills it!!! good mix overall

Nice! I listened to the sample and thought, man. This needs kick help badly. I thought about giving it a go, but wanted to see if anyone had done that, and you did. You brought the song into the current mainstream. Good job. If I had ONE critique, it'd be to get the bass to match those drums more. Granted, I'm not listening with a sub right now. Either way, you gave it weight.
